On Saturday, June 28 over 400 individuals gave their time to participate in the 6th City Uprising Block Party & Health Fair. The event reached over 550 community members with HIV testing and wrap-around services at 5 Baltimore City sites, located in zip codes facing high rates of HIV and other health disparities.
Over 1,200 service units were delivered by University of Maryland faculty/students and community-based organizations, highlighting the amazing effort of community involvement in our city’s health and wellbeing. A special thank you to the STAR TRACK Adolescent HIV Program and Legal Aid Baltimore for their participation. The following services were provided:
