JACQUES Initiative in the Community

brian

Let’s TALC. “TALC” stands for “Testing and Linkage to Care.” The JACQUES Initiative wants to spread the word about the importance of knowing your status and being engaged in HIV care and treatment. We encourage you to come see at our multiple satellite sites in the community. Through these sites, the JACQUES Initiative reaches those in need of HIV care and treatment services. Through referrals and education, satellite sites are able to meet the complex needs of Baltimore residents right in their neighborhoods by identifying new cases of HIV, increasing access to care for those who are newly diagnosed or already know their status and decreasing overall health disparities by meeting clients where they are. This is the first step of the Journey to Wellness.

For more information or if you would like to participate as a volunteer at any of these sites, please email or call 410.706.6817
